Art Council funding and support from our workshop venues covers all artist fees and materials costs, so that INKERWOVEN workshops can be offered to the public at just a nominal fee of £10 per person

Our workshops in January, February and March have been a huge success; many thanks to the tutors and for those who came along! Unfortunately we've had to postpone those planned for April and May due to the current Coronavirus situation and while we hope those later in the year will still go ahead, we realise that this is a rapidly changing situation, and that we may need to postpone these too. We'll keep you posted!

5th June: Experimental Drawing at South Square Centre, Bradford with Shelley Burgoyne FULL

6th July and 20th July: Monoprint and Mixed Media with Susan Wright and Annie Fforde

20th September: Print and Collage with Ruth Fettis and Paul Hudson FULL

Our first exhibition at Colne Valley Museum opened and was much liked but, sadly, the venue had to close. See our Facebook page for images.

We still hope that the next two exhibitions will run on time but, in a rapidly changing situation, we can't be sure. Fingers crossed!

8 March – 26 April: Colne Valley Museum, Golcar Venue Closed

2 – 30 May: Globe Arts, Slaithwaite

The ‘Inkerwoven’ project will create new and exciting works of contemporary print in response to the Bradford College Textile Archive collections for a major exhibition at the College’s Dye House Gallery in 2020-21, and will involve audiences in creative experiences along the way.

The group will spend almost a year researching the treasures of the Textile Archive and making new artwork in response, and will provide artist-led workshops and activities for all ages to enjoy, both at the School of Art, making use of its superb printmaking facilities, and at other venues with links to Yorkshire’s textile industry.
